Blah.

The title of this post sums up my day.  Too much stuff to get done and too little time.  One of those days I feel like I take one step forward and two steps back.  Managed to get the laundry done (4 loads), but realized in the process that it's time to go through the girls' clothes and weed out the stuff that is getting too small, stained, ripped, etc.....  Then I have to dig through the boxes of clothes stacked in their closets and pick out the new stuff that will fit them and also fit the season we are heading into.  What a pain in the rear!  Not looking forward to it.  Grateful to have boxes and boxes of clothes for the girls though.  They were given to us by friends and family.  That is one great thing about having multiples.  People have been really generous to us.  They know how many clothes items we need with 3 children all the same age.  Several people routinely save and give us clothes from their girls.

Getting ready to go to my parents for a few days.  They are going on a mini-vacation and I'm going to house/pet sit for them.  Can't wait to get away for a few days.  Hopefully will get to see other family members while I'm there.

Today I would like to give a shout out to a great store - not just one product - but one store chain filled with great products.  One of my passions is organic eating, but that's often hard to do because until recently organic products have been too costly for most people.  I'm pleased to see the prices of organic food stuff coming down.  Meijer is a grocery store chain (they also carry MUCH more than groceries) that has made a GREAT effort in putting out their own organic or "naturals" line of products.  The naturals line is not organic, but it is non-GMO (genetically modified organisms - scary).  The list of organic or natural items they put out is lengthy, and I certainly can't list them all here.  But it does include: canned vegetables/fruits, cereal, pasta sauce, soy milk, frozen pizza, crackers, snacks, cleaning products, etc....  (They also carry a variety of organic produce - but that is not under the "Meijer" store brand label) ALL at prices that either match or are only slightly more than their non-organic/GMO counterparts.  THANK YOU - for letting us eat organically at a great price!  The other reason I love Meijer and am glad to support it and recommend the chain is becasue it is a Michigan based company, that way I can support the local economy AND eat more purely.

Great eating, great prices!
