Potty Training At Its Best (Humor)

Okay this toddler potty training story has humor, but is not for the faint of heart and if you are I would not read this post.
So my 2 1/2 year old son has been doing very well with his potty training both going #1 and #2 in his potty chair and we only use diapers at nap times and bed time. He has this thing about when he goes in his potty chair he has to show me. He takes the insert out of his toilette and bringing it to me, very carefully I might add.
So the other night my husband is in living room watching some golf and I am on the phone talking to my best friend in Florida. When I hear my son come up behind me and say mommy look I pooped. Now I know I had just put a diaper on him, because we were going to be getting ready for bed.
I slowly turned around, phone still attached to my ear and said "what honey?" My son repeated "I pooped mommy" this time pointing down at his diaper. At the same time I noticed the diaper was empty my son said "mommy where the poop at, where it go?" Yes where did it go I said.
At that point I realized he hadn't pulled his diaper off and just did his business anywhere in the house, but the poo poo had to have been in the diaper and he was trying to show me. In those few seconds I knew all that and looked past the diaper and my son and there in all it's splendor was a nice little trail of poo poo leading from my bedroom at to the hall. "There it is" I yelled to my son so he would see it and he said " mommy your right there it is"
Now I am busting a gut of laughter still with my friend on the phone and telling her what is going on, as I begin to clean up the mess at hand. What happens next has me laughing even harder, later on not at the moment.
I go out to tell my husband what is happening so he is up to date of course, when I see this utter look of disgust on his face. I hear him say Logan we don't poo poo on the floor, that's yucky, we don't do that. I realize my husband hadn't heard the whole thing, so here my husband is thinking our son just took his diaper off and did his business on the floor somewhere. I am sure my husband is also thinking what a great potty trainer I am.
Anyway without hilariously laughing at my husband I explained that Logan didn't actually poo poo on the floor. That it had been falling out of his diaper leaving a trail as he was bringing it to me to show me and Logan was in just as much shock as I was that the diaper was empty when he got to me.
