So.  The baby has slept  through the night the last 3 nights in a row.  That's good.  Let's not go into the potty training issues.  Everyone says "don't worry, it'll happen one of these days.  No one has ever gone to their prom still wearing diapers!" - so I'm just going to cling to that sage advice tonight.

Drove to my parents today, which is about a 2 hour ride.  Half-way there I decided to listen to "my" music instead of the kiddie tunes.  NOT a popular move.  One of the triplets cried and carried on across the entire distance of one county.  Finally I had to pull-out the whole "if you don't stop, I'm gonna pull this car over" routine.  But, I'm happy to report it worked!

I'm very excited because I'm leaving the baby with my parents for the next couple of days while Hubby and I take the triplets to an indoor waterpark.  Can't wait!  We took them to a different waterpark about 2 years ago, but they were a little too young then.  This time, being almost 4 years-old, ought to be really fun.  It will be nice to be able to focus just on the triplets.  I feel like most of my time is divided into two separate groups - triplets and baby.  I hate that the triplets are always lumped together - not much of a chance for one-on-one time for them.  Especially when I'm trying to care for a baby as well.  Frankly, I feel like none of my children get the one-on-one attention that they need.  That is one thing I hate about them being so close in age.  I feel guilty about this and everytime one of them is acting up I always chalk it up to lack of attention, so I try to spend more time with her for the next few days.  Not easy.

This is the waterpark we will be going to:  http://www.castawaybay.com/
I will let everyone know how it rates when I get back.  Not, NOT looking forward to putting on a swimsuit though - blah.  I've only lost 3 of the 11 pounds I resolved to lose at the start of he year.  Well, I'll just have to use that as incentive to aggresively resume my work-out routin when I get back.  Nothing like using public humiliation as incentive!

Quote of the day from Riley - "Mom, I promise not to slap your face, scratch you or kick you."  Ummmm... okay kid.  As you can imagine, I was very relieved to hear that.  I just wonder what she WILL do to me though?  That still leaves a lot of other possibilities out there!  Better watch my back.
