The two biggest issues I'm having with the girls right now are: a 3 (almost 4) year-old who likes to go potty in her pants and a 1 year-old who likes to "visit" with mom during the night - usually several times a night. I believe I may have resolved the later issue but not the former. Two nights ago I place the baby's playpen in the guest bedroom, which is farther away from the triplets and my own bedroom so I could let her "cry it out" without disturbing the triplets. Much to my surprise, Avery slept through the night BOTH nights! I have not had to get up one time during the last two nights! I'm thinking maybe she finds the playpen more comfy than her crib. Looks like it would be uncomfortable to me - but I guess she must be happy in it. Either that or she just doesn't like her room! Perhaps the color palette doesn't agree with her or isn't conducive to a good night's sleep. I guess I don't care what the reason is as long as she sleeps through the night!
I'm totally baffled by the potty training issue. I've read articles in books and online and tried all their suggestions for training a stubborn tot. None have worked. Perhaps I havn't tried them long enough? any and all suggestions or insights you may have are most welcome. I'm begging here! I need your help!
